Best Purple Hair Dye For Home Use
Artic Fox is so far my favorite and the best purple hair dye I've experimented with. I've tried others and they either didn't show up or made my hair feel "crunchy" for some reason. These are thick, quality, and give great coverage. Sometimes I even experiment with mixing them together to create new shades to try and since they are the same brand and consistency it always turns out just fine
Ombre Purples
So far I've played in the world of purples and pinks with ombre looks and these are my personal favorites for that rock start look.
Arctic Fox Vegan and Cruelty-Free Semi-Permanent Hair Color Dye (8 Fl Oz, PURPLE RAIN)
Purple rain is the darkest of purple the Artic Fox dyes. I've used it for ombre as well as just darkening.

Violet dream is the purple that I like and use the most when I do my own touch-ups at home. It's not too dark and just the right amount of purple to stand out. I always get compliments when I use this color for at-home maintenance.

Girls Night is the lighest of the purple shades from Artic Fox and I have not personally experimented with this shade but again, if you are looking for a lighter look or a light layer you may want to give this color a go.

Once I have used up all my Violet Dream, I'm going to give this virgin pink a go for a summer look. I'm excited to try it out.
