Must-Have Hair Color Accessories

When you get into the world of coloring your own hair you are usually using a permanent or semi-permanent hair color that will stain your hands for a period of time if you don't wear gloves.

I love these because I can slide them off with ease, turn them inside out and throw them in the garbage when I'm done doing my own hair each time.

This is something I learned the first time I did my own at home hair and I was very thankful that I had some black towels because I don't have to worry about any hair color ruining my regular towels.

I use these for wrapping and clipping around my neck as well as the towel I use to dry my hair after rinsing the color out.

You can also toss these babies on the floor or over the toilet if you want to protect those areas from accidental color splashes.

These are great to have around because you can use them exclusively or prepping or even mixing your hair color. My husband did not appreciate that I used his salsa bowls for my hair color. So I broke down and got one of these which I like better anyway because of the handle and the lip on around the top.

These are hands down some of the best money I spent on hair color accessories. I use them every single time and they are also great for sectioning your hair with styling with a flat iron or curling rod.

These help you color your hair, section by section without missing anything along the journey. Since I have to color from mid-way down my head, these are important to helping me ensure I get all the strands I need to cover.

I know this sounds weird but I use purple hair dye in my white bathroom so when I'm done there are always splatters from coloring or rinsing that I need to get up quickly and these little guys make it look like I wasn't even there!
