Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB Cardioid Dynamic USB Microphone

This  Audio-Technica  microphone has both a USB connection and a XLR analog output.  I find them super easy to use, lightweight to carry around and love that I can either hook them directly to my laptop and record or hook them to my handheld recorder.

Sony MDRZX110 ZX Series Stereo Headphones

These Sony MDRZX110 headphones are super light weight have great sound.  I also love that they are pretty darn thrifty.

Pop Filter

My podcast editor told me that a Pop filter was a really good small investment.  I have one for each of my microphones.  I ordered the CAD Audio EPF-15A Pop Filter on 6-inc Gooseneck on Amazon.  These are meant to help keep moisture off your microphones as well as soften the bursts of air from your mouth when you say a “p” or “b” word.

Handheld Recorder

I actually use this Zoom H4N Digital Multitrack Recorder every single week to record the Thrifty Little Mom Podcast with my co-host Rhonda in her kitchen.  After lots of research this came back as one of the best resources for recording on the go.  In fact, my husband is a YouTuber and he uses this to create the voiceover content for his video’s while in the workshop.  He simply hangs it on his belt.  I use the 2015 version.  The newer version has an almost 5 star rating.
