Here are some pictures and ideas that I hope will inspire you to throw a cute owl themed party of your own!
Whooo’s coming?
I love using etsy for the invitations. It’s so versatile you can customize your own design and use the downloaded file to send out evites, print them to mail or put in a scrapbook. This invitation originally didn’t have owls on it, but a quick request to the designer along with personal photos and information gave me exactly what I wanted for only $6. The prices vary so shop around to stay within your budget.
Feeding the woodland creatures!
Even our pickiest eaters gobbled up these owl meatballs with buttered whole wheat pasta, fruit kabobs and, of course, the cake!
Make the party a hoot!
Free/inexpensive printable templates are widely available online. From coloring sheets to lacing/sorting activities, toothpick toppers for the food to water bottle labels in a variety of themes can be found with a simple search.
Be Wise! Don’t forget to thank your guests!
My daughter couldn’t quite write out her thanks yet so we personalized her notes by painting and scanning her handprints onto these inexpensive cards.
Groupon is a great place to find useful thank you gifts for your guests too.
Instead of making goody bags, I got these personalized labels and they were loved by all of the parents! Kidecals are waterproof, laundry safe, microwave safe, dishwasher safe & bpa free and adheres to anything from sippy cups to clothing. Another thrifty option is Mabel’s Labels.
